Docs · Getting started
Your first five minutes.
From the install click to the first finished task, this is what actually happens.
1. Install lands you in your workspace
The install button runs Slack's own add flow, and Cedric joins like any other member. Your workspace starts with $50 in credits, free, no card. Everyone on your team shares the same Cedric and the same credits.
2. Give it something real
Mention it the way you would a coworker: "summarize this thread", "what shipped this week", "draft a reply to this". Plain language, in the channel where the work already lives. It acknowledges immediately and posts the finished result back in the thread.
3. Connect a tool when a task needs one
The first time a task needs a tool, your calendar, your repo, your billing data, Cedric asks for the connection. Access is scoped to what the task needs, logged, and revocable from the dashboard at any time. Nothing is connected until you connect it.
4. It asks before anything risky
Anything that sends, changes, or spends waits for an approval, right in the channel. Approve it, edit it, or hold it: Cedric proposes, you decide.
5. The dashboard is where it all lives
Open your dashboard from the workspace switcher in the nav, or at the address Cedric gives you after install. Credits, scheduled work, what needs attention, recommended automations, and the shared memory are all there. When you are ready, invite Cedric to a meeting or schedule your first recurring report.
