The best AI employees
Lindy, Viktor, Sintra, Marblism, Relevance AI and Cedric side by side: what each AI employee does, where it works, what it costs, and who should pick it.
"AI employee" is a product category now, and the name covers very different things. Some are a cast of named characters, each running one job for a small business. Some sit in the team chat and take requests from anyone. One is a platform your ops team uses to build its own agents, with a deployment team to help.
We make one of these, so read this with that in mind. Every fact about the other products was read on their own sites on September 27, 2026, prices included. Where another tool is the better choice, we say so.
Two questions sort most of the list. Who does it work for, one founder or the whole team? And how does the price move when the team grows?
- Lindy covers one person's working day best: inbox, calendar, calls and iMessage, priced per user from $29.99 a month.
- Viktor is one employee for the whole team in Slack or Microsoft Teams, priced per workspace from $50 a month after $100 of free credits.
- Sintra and Marblism are built for the solo business owner: named helpers for social, SEO, email and sales, from $15.60 and $24 a month on yearly plans.
- Relevance AI is for large companies that want specialist agents built with a deployment team. Its only published plan is Enterprise.
- Cedric works for the whole team in Slack, Discord or Telegram, keeps one shared memory, and asks before he sends, changes or spends anything. Free credits to start, then from $19 a month with no seats.
Lindy
The AI teammate for your inbox, your calendar and your calls. lindy.ai

Lindy calls itself an AI teammate, and it covers more of one person's day than anything else here. It works in Slack threads, in your Gmail inbox (up to five inboxes), in iMessage and through a Chrome extension. It joins Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams calls as a visible participant, records them, and files them in a shared meeting library. It schedules meetings, preps you for them and follows up.
Its memory is a folder of plain files you can open and edit like a doc, which is a good answer to "what does it think it knows about me?". It connects to 1,000+ apps plus MCP servers, and anything irreversible waits for a named approver.
Pricing is per user. Every seat adds its credits to one pool the team shares, and the pool resets each month. There is a 7-day free trial.
Pros
- Inbox, calendar, calls and iMessage in one assistant.
- Memory you can open and edit as plain files.
- Approvals built in, with a named approver.
- SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA, with a signed BAA on Enterprise.
Cons
- Per user: a team of ten on Plus pays $299.90 a month.
- Credits do not roll over, and Lindy pauses when the pool runs dry.
Plus $29.99, Pro $99.99, Max $199.99 per user per month; Enterprise on request.

Viktor
"Not a tool. A hire." The AI employee in Slack and Microsoft Teams. viktor.com

Viktor is the closest to what the phrase promises: one colleague for the whole company, reachable in Slack or Microsoft Teams. Ask in a channel and it pulls the numbers, builds the dashboard, writes the report, and posts the result where you asked. It connects to 3,200+ tools, says 65,000+ teams use it, and writes what it learns into "skills", notes it reads back next time.
It asks before anything it cannot undo, with approval buttons on irreversible actions and per-person permissions. Pricing is per workspace, not per seat, and a trial starts with $100 of credits that never expire. Unused plan credits roll over for one month.
Pros
- One employee for the whole team, no per-seat charge.
- 3,200+ tools; reports and dashboards built end to end.
- Asks before anything it cannot undo.
- $100 of free credits, no card.
Cons
- Credits per task vary with the size of the job, so budget from a real trial week.
- SOC 2 Type 1 today; Type 2 is in progress.
Free to start with $100 in credits; Team from $50 a month (20,000 credits), $100 for 40,000, larger sizes above.

Sintra
Twelve named AI helpers for a one-person business. sintra.ai

Sintra sells a team of characters, each with a job. Soshie runs social media, Cassie customer support, Penn writes copy, Seomi does SEO, Milli handles sales, Dexter analyses data and Vizzy is the virtual assistant, twelve in all. You work with them in Sintra's web and mobile apps, and Brain AI holds what they know about your business so every helper uses the same facts.
It is built for solopreneurs and small business owners with no staff for these jobs, and the price shows it. On the day we checked, the pricing page ran a sale, with all twelve helpers, 250 credits a month and a 14-day money-back guarantee on every plan. One helper on its own is $39 a month.
Pros
- The lowest price here for a broad set of jobs.
- One helper per job, easy to understand.
- Brain AI keeps the business context in one place.
- Works in 100+ languages.
Cons
- Built for one person working in Sintra's own app, not for a team chat.
- 250 credits a month on every plan.
- The prices were sale prices that day. Check the page when you buy.
Sintra X $15.60 a month on a 12-month plan, $23.60 on 3 months, $48.50 month to month (sale prices).

Marblism
Seven AI employees for a small business, at one flat price. marblism.com

Marblism's cast is smaller and more hands-on. Eva, the executive assistant, drafts email replies, filters junk and manages the calendar. Sonny runs social media, Stan finds leads and runs outreach, Penny writes SEO articles for your site, Rachel answers the phone on a US, Canadian or UK number, Walter builds the website and Linda drafts contracts.
One plan covers all seven, with 50 hours of work a month, unlimited businesses and unlimited team members. Chat and quick tasks do not count against the hours, and there is a 7-day money-back guarantee.
Pros
- A receptionist that answers real phone calls.
- Unlimited team members and businesses on one flat plan.
- Website, SEO and social posts handled end to end.
- The simplest pricing in this list.
Cons
- Built around a small business's outward jobs: inbox, socials, leads and calls.
- 50 hours of work a month is the ceiling.
$24 a month billed yearly, or $44 month to month.

Relevance AI
Specialist agents for large teams, built with an embedded deployment team. relevanceai.com

Relevance AI is a different kind of purchase. It is a platform for building specialist agents, one per task: enrich an account in the CRM, prep a brief before a call, book a qualified meeting. Its homepage speaks to sales, customer success, marketing and HR leaders, and it connects to 1,000+ apps.
The offer includes an embedded deployment team. Weeks one and two map the use cases, weeks three to six deploy the first agents, and then it trains your people to build without it. The controls are what a security review asks for: SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, data residency, PII masking, audit logs, role-based access, SSO and human-in-the-loop approvals. The one published plan is Enterprise, with unlimited users.
Pros
- A deployment team builds the first agents with you.
- Enterprise controls, tracing, and a cost for every task.
- Unlimited users on the plan.
Cons
- No self-serve price. You start by talking to sales.
- Weeks, not minutes: the program aims at six weeks to the first team of agents.
- Built for a team that will own and tune agents, more than for asking a colleague.
Enterprise only, price on request.

Cedric
The AI employee who works for the whole team, in the chat it already uses. meet-cedric.com

Cedric lives where the team already talks: Slack, Discord, Telegram, or the browser. Anyone in the workspace can ask him for something, and the answer lands in the thread where the question was asked. He connects to 3,200+ apps, joins Google Meet, Zoom and Microsoft Teams calls when invited, and runs scheduled work like the Monday numbers on the cadence you set.
Two things make him a colleague rather than a chat window. He keeps one shared memory, so a correction made once in a channel reaches the whole team. And he asks before he sends, changes or spends anything. The picture above is his message after a sales call: four actions drafted, each waiting for a yes that anyone in the channel can give.
A workspace starts with 100,000 free credits, worth about $50, no card. Plans start at $19 a month for the whole team, with no seats, so the team of ten from the Lindy example pays the same as a team of two.
Pros
- One Cedric for the whole team, no seats.
- Slack, Discord, Telegram and the browser.
- One shared memory: teach him once, everyone benefits.
- Every send, change or spend waits for a yes.
100,000 free credits to start; plans from $19 a month for the whole team, no seats.

How to choose
If you run a business alone and want the social posts, the SEO articles and the inbox handled for the price of a lunch, pick Sintra or Marblism. Pick Marblism if the phone matters, because Rachel answers it.
If you want one assistant to own your personal day, inbox, calendar, calls and iMessage included, Lindy does that best. Paying per user is fair when every user gets an assistant of their own.
If you want one colleague the whole team shares, look at Viktor and Cedric. Viktor if your company runs on Microsoft Teams. Cedric if you are on Discord or Telegram, or if the budget is small. At $19 a month, one plan covers everyone.
If you are a large company with a security review, a sales ops team and six weeks, Relevance AI's deployment team will build specialist agents with you.
Whichever you try, give it a real week of work during the trial. Ask for the report you actually need on Monday and see what comes back.
What still needs a person
An AI employee does the work. It does not decide what the work is for. The price you quote and the reply to an angry customer stay with a person. The better products here are built so the outward step waits for one, and Cedric holds every send, change and spend for a yes.
Someone also has to own it. Whoever corrects it in week one decides how useful it is in week six.
FAQ
Software that takes a job rather than a prompt. It has access to your tools, remembers how your business works, does work that takes several steps, and reports back. The products above use the name for very different things, from a cast of helpers for one founder to one colleague the whole team shares.
Lindy, Viktor and Cedric. Viktor also works in Microsoft Teams, Lindy in iMessage and Gmail, and Cedric in Discord, Telegram and the browser.
It depends on the product. Cedric never does: anything that leaves the workspace, changes a record or costs money waits for a yes. One rule lets an AI send email for you explains how that works.
On the entry plans checked on September 27, 2026, a team of ten pays $299.90 a month on Lindy Plus (per user), $50 on Viktor, $24 on Marblism billed yearly, and $19 on Cedric. Each plan includes a different amount of work, so compare on a real week.
Yes. A workspace starts with 100,000 free credits, worth about $50, and no card. How to use Cedric shows the first steps.
Free credits available, no card, no seats.
