Zendesk, from the conversation.

Ask for the queue, read the ticket, draft the reply. Cedric proposes the answer in Zendesk and waits for your yes.

  • Zendesk holds every customer conversation, and the usual question is which tickets need eyes now.
  • Ask in plain words: tickets by keyword, status, requester, assignee, tag or date, with the full history including internal notes.
  • Cedric drafts the public reply or adds an internal comment, and can link the help center article that answers the question.
  • Status, priority, type, assignee, group, tags and custom fields can be updated, and a ticket filed on a customer's behalf.
  • Public replies, closing tickets and bulk updates change what customers see, so each one waits for your yes.

What can a Zendesk AI agent do?

Most of what a support lead wants from Zendesk is a view: what is open for this account, what has waited longest, what came in tagged billing today. A Zendesk AI agent answers from the conversation. Cedric searches tickets by keyword, status, requester, assignee, tag or date, reads a ticket's full history including public replies and internal notes, and pulls summary views of the queues and the satisfaction ratings behind them for a report.

Answering is the other half. Cedric drafts a public reply to the customer or a private internal comment for the team, and it can browse and search the help center to find the article that answers the question and link it in the reply. It updates the ticket alongside: status, priority, type, assignee, group, tags or a custom field. Every reply is proposed before it goes out, which is what lets an operations assistant work a queue that customers are reading.

It works with the people behind the tickets too. Cedric creates a new ticket on a customer's behalf with a subject, description, priority and tags when a request arrives somewhere else, and looks up and updates customer and organization records, including contact details and notes. Heavy searching or listing can hit Zendesk's request limits, so a very large query is paged rather than pulled in one go.

@Cedric what's still open for Brightwater Dental, and answer their latest one about the export. Point them at the CSV article.

CedricAPP9:15 AM

Brightwater Dental has 3 open tickets: #4821 export fails on large date ranges (open, high, assigned to Lena), #4790 invoice copy (pending), #4655 seat change (on hold). Draft public reply on #4821: the export cap is 90 days per file, with a link to "Exporting to CSV" from the help center, and a note that Lena is on the larger-range fix. Proposed alongside: tag #4821 export-cap and set it to pending.

Send the reply and update #4821?

Connect Zendesk in a minute

No setup project, no workflow builder, no field mapping. The flow is the same for every tool Cedric connects to.

  1. 01

Install Cedric where your team talks

One click. It joins your Slack like any other member, and everyone shares the same Cedric.

  2. 02

    Connect Zendesk from the dashboard

Open the Integrations page and sign in with Zendesk on its own screen. Cedric never sees or stores your password, and you can revoke the connection in one click at any time.

A fresh connection can look but not touch: read-only until you say otherwise.

  3. 03

    Ask in plain words

Back in the channel, try it: "which tickets are still open for our top accounts?". You describe the outcome; Cedric picks the Zendesk actions the ask needs. There is nothing to configure.

Connect for the whole workspace so the team shares it, or keep the connection personal. Two accounts are fine too; each gets a short name.

  4. 04

    Let it become routine

Schedule the recurring version of the ask, and let Cedric fold Zendesk into bigger jobs that cross your other tools. Anything that would leave your workspace still comes back as a preview to approve first.

Better in company

A bug reported in Zendesk belongs in Linear or GitHub; Cedric can read the ticket, file the issue with the ticket linked, and tell the customer when the fix ships, each step on your yes.

Ticket volume and satisfaction ratings read well next to the account list in HubSpot, and a Google Sheets tab can hold the weekly numbers without anyone exporting.

Where the limits are

Zendesk is a catalog connection, not a built-in playbook. Cedric works from what the Zendesk connection can read and do; ask in plain words and it says what it can reach there, and what it cannot.

Public replies reach the customer. Sending a reply, closing a ticket or running a bulk update changes what customers see, so Cedric proposes the text and asks every time.

Zendesk's own rate limits apply. Heavy searching or listing can hit request limits, so a very large query is paged rather than pulled in one go.

Cedric sees what the Zendesk connection grants and nothing more. Access is scoped, logged, and revocable from the dashboard, effective immediately.

Nothing sends itself. An email, a post, a change to a record: anything with consequences comes back as a preview for a human yes. That is the design, not a beta caveat.

FAQ

Yes. Zendesk is one of the 3,200+ apps in Cedric's catalog: connect it once from the dashboard, on Zendesk's own sign-in screen, and ask in plain words. There is no built-in playbook for it, so Cedric works from what the connection can read and do, and tells you when something is out of reach.

No. Your triggers, automations and macros keep running. Cedric works on top of them from the conversation: it reads, drafts and updates tickets the way an agent with the same permissions would, and asks before any reply goes out.

Yes. It reads a ticket's full conversation history, public replies and private internal comments alike, and can add either kind. An internal comment stays internal; a public reply is proposed before it is sent.

Connect it for the whole workspace and everyone shares it, with one person authorising once. A connection you would rather not share, a personal inbox for instance, can stay personal to you.

Yes, and it starts that way: a fresh connection can look but not touch until you say otherwise. Even with write access granted, anything that changes or sends waits for an approval.
