Deskimo (YC S21): how Cedric helps keep the lead tracker clean
By integrating Cedric in their Slack, Deskimo has every lead from chat and the website land in its tracker sheet, a clean record and answers for the whole team.

About Deskimo
Deskimo is one of the leading on-demand workspace platforms in Asia. With more than 600 workspaces in over 12 countries, and thousands of companies booking desks and meeting rooms by the minute, keeping track of leads is a challenge.
Deskimo is backed by Y Combinator, where it was part of the Summer 2021 batch. Co-founder Christian Mischler previously co-founded Foodpanda and GuestReady.

I was impressed to see our team using it spontaneously. Linking it with our systems was very easy, and it now helps us with all of our lead management.
Lead tracking in Sheets
New leads go straight into Deskimo's tracker as rows. Cedric updates their status, fills in the blanks and keeps the columns tidy.
Cedric is connected to Google Sheets directly. It can read a sheet, add to it and edit it, answer questions from what the sheet holds, and do any of that on a schedule, so a tracker stays current without anyone owning the chore.
Web leads
Deskimo's website forms send each new lead to Cedric, which adds it to the tracker, skips duplicates and confirms in Slack. Nothing sits between "form submitted" and "row in the tracker".
The same works for anything that can send a notification: a form, a booking page, another tool. It arrives, Cedric does the job you described once, and tells the team what it did.
Within minutes it was reading our tracker, adding leads exactly where they belong and cleaning up errors we hadn't even noticed. Every update tells us what changed and what's still missing.
Company memory
Cedric keeps Deskimo's own context: which markets are live, where partnerships stand, who owns what, which sheet is which. Questions get answered without anyone digging.
Behind this is one memory shared by the whole workspace. It keeps the facts and rules that last rather than a transcript of everything said, so what one person tells it is already known when a colleague asks the next day. Every memory is listed on one page, where anyone can read it or delete it.
Learning from corrections
When the team tells Cedric how they want something written, it becomes a permanent rule. Dates and phone numbers now go in the same way every time.
Cedric builds skills like this all the time. Say "from now on, do it like this" and it becomes a named rule for the whole team. It learns how a workspace works the way a new colleague does, by being told once.
