Xero invoices and bills, drafted from the chat.

Ask who owes you, draft the invoice, record the bill. Cedric proposes the entry in Xero and waits for your yes.

100K credits ($50) through Slack, Teams, Discord, Telegram or WhatsApp, 50K ($25) with Google. No card needed.

  • Ask who owes you past 30 days, or what you owe suppliers.
  • Cedric drafts invoices, credit notes, quotes and purchase orders.
  • He records the supplier bill and attaches the receipt to it.
  • Aged receivables, aged payables, profit and loss and the balance sheet, pulled in the thread.
  • Sending an invoice or recording a payment waits for your yes.

What can a Xero AI agent do?

The money questions arrive in chat. Who still owes us? Did we pay the Lindgren Print bill? What did we spend on contractors this quarter? Cedric looks up customers and suppliers, checks which invoices are outstanding or overdue, and reads bank balances and transactions. For the bigger picture he pulls the profit and loss, the balance sheet, and aged receivables and payables.

Then the entries. He creates and edits sales invoices and credit notes, records supplier bills and expense claims, and records payments against invoices and bills, part payments and refunds included. He creates quotes and purchase orders and attaches the receipt or the PDF to the transaction. Each one is a proposal first, which lets invoice follow-up run from the channel where the customer came up.

When you connect, Xero asks which organisation Cedric works in. Xero also sets per-minute and daily call limits for every connected app, so a long history takes a little longer to read.

@Cedric who owes us more than 30 days out? Draft a reminder for each.

Three customers. Harbour & Pine NZD 3,900 (INV-0412, 44 days). Tidewater Labs NZD 1,250 (INV-0405, 38 days). Moana Studio NZD 480 (INV-0419, 31 days). A reminder is drafted for each, with the invoice number and the amount. None sent.

No setup project, no workflow builder, no field mapping. The flow is the same for every tool Cedric connects to.

  1. 01

Install Cedric where your team talks

One click. He joins your Slack like any other member, and everyone shares the same Cedric.

  2. 02

    Connect Xero from the dashboard

Open the Integrations page, pick Xero and sign in on its own sign-in screen. Cedric never sees or stores your password, and you can revoke the connection in one click at any time.

Pick Read-only when you connect if you only want him reading. You can switch it later.

  3. 03

    Ask in plain words

Back in the channel, try it: "who owes us money more than 30 days out?" You describe the outcome; Cedric picks the Xero actions the ask needs. There is nothing to configure.

Connect for the whole workspace so the team shares it, or keep the connection personal. Two accounts are fine too; each gets a short name.

  4. 04

    Let it become routine

Schedule the recurring version of the ask, and let Cedric fold Xero into bigger jobs that cross your other tools. Anything that would leave your workspace still comes back as a preview to approve first.

Better in company

The reminder goes out by email. Cedric reads the aged receivables in Xero and drafts one message per customer in Gmail or Outlook, with the invoice number and the amount. Each one sends on your yes.

Card payments land in Stripe. Ask Cedric to check them against the open invoices in Xero, and he lists the payments that match no invoice.

Worth knowing

Xero comes from Cedric's catalog of 3,200+ apps. He works from what the Xero connection can read and do, the same list its card shows in your dashboard.

Xero asks which organisation to use. You pick it when you connect.

Invoices and payments change the books. Cedric shows the customer, the amount and the account first, and saves on your yes.

Xero sets call limits per minute and per day. A long history is read in steps.

The Xero connection sets the scope. Cedric sees what it grants. Access is logged, and you can revoke it from the dashboard at any time.

Nothing sends itself. An email, a post, a change to a record: anything with consequences comes back as a preview for a person to approve.

FAQ

Yes. Xero is one of the 3,200+ apps in Cedric's catalog. Connect it once from the dashboard, on Xero's own sign-in screen, and ask in plain words. Cedric picks the actions an ask needs from what the connection can read and do, with no fields to map.

Yes. He drafts the invoice in Xero and shows it to you. When you approve, Xero emails it to the customer.

Payroll is a separate app. Xero Payroll (outside the US) has its own entry in Cedric's catalog, and you connect it on its own.

No. He drafts the entries your accountant or bookkeeper would otherwise type, and he pulls the reports. A person still approves each entry and reviews the books.

Connect it for the whole workspace and everyone shares it, with one person authorising once. A connection you would rather not share, a personal inbox for instance, can stay personal to you.

Yes. Pick Read-only when you connect, or switch it later on the Integrations page. With write access, anything that changes or sends still waits for an approval.

Every workspace starts with 100,000 free credits (worth $50) on sign-up, no card. Plans start at $19 a month for the whole team, no seats. Each task uses credits in proportion to the work. See pricing.
