What can a Google Drive AI agent do?
Most of what a team wants from Google Drive is to find something: the signed contract from the spring, the deck someone presented last month, the folder a new hire should start with. A Google Drive AI agent finds it from the conversation. Cedric searches files and folders by name, type, owner or modification date, pulls the details such as size, format, owner and last-modified time, and downloads or reads the contents of stored documents so it can answer a question about what is inside rather than just link to it.
The other half is keeping Drive in order. Where the limits are
Google Drive is a catalog connection, not a built-in playbook. Cedric works from what the Google Drive connection can read and do; ask in plain words and it says what it can reach there, and what it cannot.
Sharing reaches people outside the thread. Granting access, deleting a file or overwriting one is proposed with the file name and the people affected, and runs only on your yes.
Drive's usage limits apply to bulk work. Moving, sharing or copying hundreds of files at once can hit those limits, so a large reorganization runs in stages rather than one pass.
Cedric sees what the Google Drive connection grants and nothing more. Access is scoped, logged, and revocable from the dashboard, effective immediately.
Nothing sends itself. An email, a post, a change to a record: anything with consequences comes back as a preview for a human yes. That is the design, not a beta caveat.
