- Stands in when you can't make it.
- Catches latecomers up in the chat.
- Turns what you ask in the call into work.

Out loudCedric here, standing in for Lucia today. I have a few questions to ask.

In the chatReto, so far: the pilot scope and the start date. Decided: the pilot starts on the 3rd.

Out loudCedric, send Halcyon the pricing deck.

Can't make it? He goes for you.
Tell Cedric what the room should hear, what you need to find out, and what he must not say. He joins the call in your place, and the notes come to you first.
He opens by saying who he's standing in for.
He asks your questions one at a time, and gets each one asked before the call ends.
He answers only from what you gave him. Anything else, he says he'll pass on.
He never agrees to a decision, a date or a price for you.
If you make it after all, he hands back in the chat and goes quiet.

Out loudCedric here, standing in for Lucia today. I have a few questions to ask, and anything I can't settle I'll pass on.

In the chatLucia, you're here, so over to you. I'll keep the transcript and answer only when someone asks me something.
Microsoft TeamsJoined late? Read two lines.
When someone arrives after the meeting has started, Cedric posts a short recap for them in the meeting chat. The meeting carries on, and nobody stops to repeat it.
Two lines: what's been discussed, and what's been decided.
Posted in the chat by first name, once per person. Never out loud.
Not in the first minutes of a call, when there's nothing to catch up on.

In the chatReto, so far: the launch checklist and who writes the press note.
Decided: launch moves to the 14th, Nadja owns the press note.
Say it in the call. He does it after.
Ask Cedric by name while everyone is still there: "Cedric, send Halcyon the pricing deck." When the call ends, each ask becomes an action card that runs in your connected tools once you approve it.
Each card says what approving does, and quotes the line that asked for it.
He takes on only what someone asked him to do. No invented follow-ups.
If a card needs an app you haven't connected, the card says so.
The notes go to you first, with the summary, the decisions, the action items and the open questions. Approve them and every attendee gets them by email.

Halcyon pilot review ended. One thing you asked me for:
If approved: emails Halcyon the pricing deck from Gmail.
Asked in the call: "Cedric, send Halcyon the pricing deck."
He can also run the meeting.
Cedric takes the agenda and works through it item by item, asking each question of the person it belongs to. At the end he reads back the decisions and who owns what. A workspace admin turns it on in Settings.

Cedric in your meetings, answered
Yes. Ask him to stand in for you and tell him what the room should hear, what to ask and what he must not say. He joins in your place, opens by saying who he is standing in for, asks your questions and sends you the notes after. When he joins from your calendar as your stand-in, he asks you for all of this before the call.
Only what you gave him, and public facts. When someone asks something he was not told, he says he will pass it on instead of guessing. He never agrees to a decision, a date, a price or a promise for you: he notes it and passes it on.
He hands back to you in the meeting chat ("you're here, so over to you") and says nothing more out loud. He keeps the notes, and answers in the chat only when someone asks him by name.
When someone joins a meeting that has been going for a few minutes, Cedric posts two short lines in the meeting chat, addressed to them by first name: what has been discussed and what has been decided. Once per person, never out loud.
No. What the room asks him to do becomes an action card that waits for your yes. The notes go to you first; once you approve them, every attendee gets them by email.
