Branded files, filled and exported from the thread.
Ask for the latest deck, fill the template with this month's numbers, export the PDF. Cedric proposes the job in Canva and waits for your yes.
$50 in free credits when you sign up. No card needed.
- Canva is where the team's branded material lives, and finding the right version is half the job.
- Ask in plain words: the latest pricing one-pager, every design in the September folder, the logo that was uploaded last week.
- Cedric fills a brand template's placeholders with the text and images you supply, one document or a batch, proposed first.
- Exports come back as download links: PDF, PNG, JPG or a presentation format, whichever the thread needs.
- Exports and bulk fills run as background jobs, some features need a paid or team plan, and creating or exporting content waits for your yes.
What can a Canva AI agent do?
The first thing a Canva AI agent does is find things. Cedric lists and searches your designs, folders and uploaded assets, so the latest version of a one-pager or the logo file someone uploaded last week is a question rather than a scroll. It looks up the account profile, the brand templates and the design types available, and keeps the workspace organized by creating folders and moving designs and assets between them.
The second is making things from what exists. Cedric creates new designs, blank ones or ones based on a template or an uploaded image, and uploads images and other media into the account for use in designs. The most useful case is bulk: it generates branded documents by filling a brand template's placeholders with the text and images you supply, so twenty partner one-pagers with the right names and numbers become one ask. That is a recurring piece of the marketing work that otherwise costs an afternoon.
The third is getting files out. Cedric exports designs as shareable files, PDF, PNG, JPG or presentation formats, and retrieves the download links; exports and bulk fills run as background jobs, so it reports back when they finish. It also reads and adds comments on a design, replies included. Per-endpoint rate limits apply, some features need a paid or team plan, and creating or exporting content on your behalf is proposed before it runs.
Partner pack
Three one-pagers, filled and exported.

@Cedric make the September partner one-pagers from the "Partner one-pager" brand template, one for each of Northwind, Halcyon and Bluefin, with their logo and the Q3 numbers from the list above, and export them as PDFs.
CedricAPP9:15 AM
Found the brand template "Partner one-pager" (last edited 12 August) with placeholders partner_name, logo, q3_revenue, q3_orders and contact. The three logos are in your Uploads folder. Proposed: three fills with the names and numbers from your list, saved to the folder "Partners / September", then a PDF export of each. Exports run in the background and usually take a minute or two; I will post the three download links here when they are done.

- 01
Install Cedric where your team talks
One click. It joins your Slack like any other member, and everyone shares the same Cedric.
- 02
Connect Canva from the dashboard
Open the Integrations page and sign in with Canva on its own screen. Cedric never sees or stores your password, and you can revoke the connection in one click at any time.
A fresh connection can look but not touch: read-only until you say otherwise.
- 03
Ask in plain words
Back in the channel, try it: "find the latest version of the pricing one-pager". You describe the outcome; Cedric picks the Canva actions the ask needs. There is nothing to configure.
Connect for the whole workspace so the team shares it, or keep the connection personal. Two accounts are fine too; each gets a short name.
- 04
Let it become routine
Schedule the recurring version of the ask, and let Cedric fold Canva into bigger jobs that cross your other tools. Anything that would leave your workspace still comes back as a preview to approve first.
Better in company
The numbers for a filled template usually live in Google Sheets. In one ask, Cedric reads the row for each partner, fills the brand template, exports the PDF and sends it through Gmail, with the send proposed last.
A design exported as PNG is a post waiting to happen: the same ask can draft the LinkedIn or Meta post around it, so the visual and the words are approved together.
Where the limits are
Canva is a catalog connection, not a built-in playbook. Cedric works from what the Canva connection can read and do; ask in plain words and it says what it can reach there, and what it cannot.
Exports and bulk fills take time. Both run as background jobs in Canva, so Cedric reports back with the links when they finish rather than instantly, and per-endpoint rate limits pace a large batch. Creating or exporting content is proposed first.
Some features need a paid or team plan. Brand templates and bulk fills depend on what your Canva plan includes; Cedric says so when a request needs a feature the account does not have.
Cedric sees what the Canva connection grants and nothing more. Access is scoped, logged, and revocable from the dashboard, effective immediately.
Nothing sends itself. An email, a post, a change to a record: anything with consequences comes back as a preview for a human yes. That is the design, not a beta caveat.
FAQ
Yes. Canva is one of the 3,200+ apps in Cedric's catalog: connect it once from the dashboard, on Canva's own sign-in screen, and ask in plain words. There is no built-in playbook for it, so Cedric works from what the connection can read and do, and tells you when something is out of reach.
It creates new designs, blank or from a template or an uploaded image, and fills brand templates with your content. The visual work inside a design still happens in Canva's editor; Cedric handles the finding, filling, organizing and exporting around it.
Cedric asks Canva for the export, waits for the background job, and posts the download links in the thread. It can also move the source design into the folder you name so the team finds it later.
Connect it for the whole workspace and everyone shares it, with one person authorising once. A connection you would rather not share, a personal inbox for instance, can stay personal to you.
Yes, and it starts that way: a fresh connection can look but not touch until you say otherwise. Even with write access granted, anything that changes or sends waits for an approval.
